Born in the creative heart of Los Angeles in 2019, The Mystery Suns sound-portray the struggle of the spirit with the mind, the ego, and the flesh—evoking a sonic foundation built on the classics, delivered with a modern heart across both acoustic and electric formats.

Reestablished in mid-2021 as a Barcelona-based global collective led by Ernesto Licona alongside Martina Strisciullo, the band features a world-class international lineup that blends the raw emotional depth of modern pop-soul with hypnotic psychedelic indie rock textures to evolve their unique sonic and philosophical identity.

To date, the project has featured collaborations with international legends, including Frans Hägglund (The Hives, Lykke Li), Frank Arkwright (The Smiths, Joy Division, Blur), Erik Wofford (Black Angels, Daniel Johnston), Juan Sebastian Rodríguez (Grammy winner), and Maurizio Grondona (Italy).
